Imagine being a Chinese admiral or general who trained your entire life for Gotterdammerung and then France blows up America for you because a senile reality TV show host doesn't understand how the Mercator projection works and therefore thinks Greenland is 87 times the size of the solar system.
Have become quite critical of Macron lately. But for the EU's sole nuclear power this is an important response.

This is a beautiful, moving tribute to an incredible woman whose murder left Minnesota so much poorer.
I met Melissa Hortman in October of 2024. She was smart and kind. I heard about her murder in a LA hotel room and it dropped me to my knees. As I sit here feeding another outdoor cat that could be a stray or someones pet....I get more pissed off.
Stop letting your cats be outdoor.
It's bad for their health.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

I think it's important not to misunderstand what these social media platforms are. They are not public arenas where we bravely take on reactionary forces in honorable combat. They are apps that expose you to stress and thereby simulate the feeling of having done something useful
