That disparity is key to the lawsuit Minnesota and the Twin Cities have brought
Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

So when will some reporter tell Trump the AAA average gas price is over $3 and then ask him to explain his $2 a gallon statement?

Simply put, none of this is true. In tomorrow's column I note the average price of gas is more than $3/gallon, not close to $2, but whatever. And the Walmart Thanksgiving thing has already been repeatedly debunked. This is a rambling loon living in a made-up world where others tell him fake things.
Trump: "I don't want to hear about the affordability, because right now we're much less. If you look at energy, we're getting close to $2 a gallon gasoline."

Since 2015, Trump has never been able to turn out his low-political engagement voters (who are very hard to reach in polls) in elections when his name is not on the ballot. The pattern continues.

Once upon a time, American soldiers handed out food to Germans because *they* had followed a fascist madman into national ruin.

How times change.
NEW: The US Army website for its bases in Bavaria, Germany told its soldiers and employees that it might need to obtain free food from the German government during the US government shutdown.

The Army later altered publication to remove a list of food banks, but we have the original text here:
US Army Tells Soldiers to Go to German Food Bank, Then Deletes It
The initial 'Shutdown Guidance' for the US Army Garrison Bavaria included instructions to go to German food banks.

I’m re-upping this, even though I know it won’t matter at all, but I want maybe a few extra people to know that the White House liaison to DHS—who is already known to have expressed Nazi tendencies—linked yesterday to a well-known white nationalist’s web site.
Paul Ingrassia, White House liaison to DHS and failed Special Counsel nominee, links to a defense of himself written by white nationalist Greg Johnson at Johnson’s Counter-Currents site.

My pitch to progressives would be that you need to think long and hard about how awful — racist, transphobic, a climate denier whatever else — you think I am and then assimilate the information that I’m a Clinton / Biden / Harris voter and Democrats need to win the votes of people way to my right!

What Democrats need to do is neither embrace the ideas of the Bernie / AOC / Mamdani faction nor obsessively freeze Bernie / AOC / Mamdani out.

What they have to do is be tougher on crime and illegal immigration and prioritize broad-based prosperity over emissions reductions and identity politics.

New: The FBI is quietly urging ICE agents to properly ID themselves in the field.

In a bulletin to law enforcement last month, it warned of criminals posing as ICE to rob, rape, kidnap—a problem it says now demands national coordination to confront.

It’s far from certain that James Comey will be indicted

After all, Jeanine Pirro struggled getting indictments in DC

But even if charges are brought, given Trump’s tampering, a judge could still dismiss the case

Because in America, we don’t decide guilt before determining if there’s even a crime
