Exactly right, and therefore important not to give credit for an investigation of an obvious atrocity. Appropriate responses are apologies, resignations, firings, impeachments. The individuals who killed people should be tried before a judge and jury.

After executing Alex Pretti on Saturday, ICE has shifted to primarily targeting bus stops and elementary schools in my community this week. I cannot overstate how much of the ICE activity in my community is just targeting places where little kids are.

Yes this. The first time I heard her speak she was a guest on Morning Joe (I think to discuss the Tree of Life Synagogue mass shooting?) and she went on the most unhinged and intense Zionist rant. It was a shockingly blunt mask off moment but everyone continued to normalize her as a “moderate” etc.
I don't think this is accurate. Weiss is extremely committed to violent zionism and the dehumanization of Palestinians. that core hatred fuels her embrace of the MAGA right and of other fascist bigotries.
My sense is that Weiss is a largely non-ideological grifter. Yeah, she's invested (pun intended) in being an Edgy Iconoclast Who Can't Be Classified, but ultimately I think she's just a troll who wants money and prestige.
