She's sexually abused as a child and continuously used by men until deathly ill. Likewise with Lt Dan who gets spit out into an ungrateful world after fulfilling his "purpose" as a soldier where he was just expected to die. It's a grim but honest statement about how the US treats the vulnerable.

I've watched Forrest Gump a million times and never once felt anger towards Jenny. The whole movie shows how a certain type of person (white guys) can succeed on little merit while the world chews up and spits out others deemed less worthy. The "male loneliness epidemic" is just a lack of empathy.

The Saints are a disgusting organization. Attempted to sign sexual predator DeShaun Watson (the owner personally flew on her private jet to recruit him), heavily involved in the cover up of Catholic church sexual abuse scandal, and now attempting to sign another sexual predator. Nuke the franchise.

Trump breaking the "politicians should never curse" barrier for everyone was arguably a good thing — politicians should talk like normal people! — but Dems are now in a childlike stage where every curse feels unearned, with a whiff of "look at me, I'm so naughty!" Why is it so hard for this man to admit that he got it colossally wrong by putting partisan politics ahead of science, medicine and the health and safety of the people of this country?
