honestly you could make the purifier being under enclave control real easily because simply stating that the enclave would pick and choose who does and does not get to drink would be a bad thing
I understand from the perspective of like the Enclave and BOS having generational beef and fucking hated each other but it seemed like it would have made more sense if the Enclave's main thing was "We want the fucking pentagon back" and were mostly focused on that aspect of it and less the purifier.

Bethesda turning super mutants into big stupid orcs who only exist to be evil and get shot is probably one of the biggest indicators on their inability to write interesting enemies

It's true that Cinemasins-style "criticism" has done a lot to erode the actual useful concept of what a plot hole is, but if the ending to your story relies on the protagonist sacrificing themselves when someone who could flip the switch and not die is standing five feet away, sorry, that's on you

oh ok so the hate towards jelloapocalypse is literally just that people dislike his takes
Fun(?) Fact, those weren't even changes he MADE, since he wasn't the lead script writer. Those were changes he suggested that never made it to script. He was only freelancing on the project while his friend, the ACTUAL lead writer was in the hospital. That's why the major ones never made it to air.
