I think that the Trump administration's position toward 🇺🇦is disgraceful! I think the effort to force 🇺🇦into a surrender deal with Putin is shameful! I think the effort that Putin/Trump are making to profit off the misery & death of the 🇺🇦people is a historic error...

“Americans should not accept vague excuses for protecting the identities of Mr. Epstein’s associates,” the editorial board writes. “A two-tiered justice system that coddles the powerful and revictimizes the vulnerable is a violation of American values.”

181,000 jobs were added in all of 2025. Suddenly 180,000 jobs were added in one month

In August 2025, Trump fired Bureau of Labor Statistics Commissioner Erika McEntarfer following weak jobs data, claiming the agency's jobs reports were "rigged".

So the #’s can be rigged? 🧐

No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.
