The repeated No Kings are lessening dependence on elected officials & their networks (I know we must vote.), teaching people skills, connecting people in suburbs/small cities/rural areas & getting millions acquainted with being on street for future rapid response.

I've been getting a sense from stuff I've heard that HPD and City of Houston getting concerned with costs of policing protest. Two suggestions are:

1. Send fewer police to protests.
2. Directly bill the police and fire unions who support candidates bringing about the authoritarianism.
