I have a degree in game culture, gamer gate happened while I was studying and now I spend my time researching fascism. Put like that it's an entirely linear trajectory but subjectively it's been a hell of a ride. So yes, these guys are total cringe losers.

Someone got mad at me about pronouns but they thought I was dunking on trans people so I can work with that. Also someone tried to do an exorcism on me. Leave my demons alone, the aircon's on, they have water, their favourite music is playing.

WOW. A federal judge says he's going to issue a Temporary Restraining Order requiring ICE to make changes at the Broadview facility in Chicago, a facility that until January was only for stays under 12 hours "absent exceptional circumstances," but has become, in Judge Gettleman's words, "a prison."

I was just looking through some costume reference and it struck me how weird it was that Scotty got to keep his staff captain commission after Star Trek 3. He was only on the job for a few days, I know all charges were dropped but you'd think they'd have stopped the paperwork after he went AWOL
