I’m old. Making things is my lifelong delight. It’s a continuous source of joy and contentment. Also, being a beginner is good for you. I didn’t know how to bake bread on Jan 1. Now I get to find something more to learn and do.

Y'all, I grew up in Texas and settled in eastern washington state. When I tell you I am bodily shocked every fall and winter, it is no exaggeration. Its a cold down in your bones. It is different than anything we got down south.
