Last night I dreamed 3 geese attacked my car, ripped off one windshield wiper, and cracked the moonroof glass. Then I had to teach a class with a bunch of admins wandering in and out, while my students goofed off the whole time, and I was distracted trying to figure out how to get my car repaired.

Glad to hear 9 people I’ve never met have decided I can stay married for now. What a cool system we have. 🤬

I love meeting online friends! 😍
I know how weird it is to meet online friends. I would fully just fist-bump any of you and then walk the other way, if that’s what works.

AI chatbots didn’t encourage teens to kill themselves. The people at the companies that created the AI chatbots failed to create safety guardrails that adhere to best practices in suicide prevention methods.

Typically, I tell students that they get to teach me about their interests and passions through their essays. In hindsight, I probably should've banned AI as a topic for first-year writing, solely because I know waaaaaay too much about it, and my students are getting frustrated with my nit picking.

Listen, Trump is a horrible, fascist president, but if you watch the whole fainting video, he’s not actually being aloof or uncaring. There were 3 people, including Dr. Oz, immediately helping the fainting guy, so there was nothing for Trump to even do.
Media literacy and accuracy are important.

I teach this movie in my American Dream class, sandwiched between The Jungle and Behold the Dreamers, so my students can feel joy for a few hours during a long, depressing course.
It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

TL;DR we just want to stop privatizing our rights away and actually take care of citizens
Democratic socialism doesn't have a one-size-fits-all definition. But its proponents emphasize a stronger role for the government over the economy to benefit the public. n.pr/47F4jZp
NYC's next mayor is a democratic socialist. What does that mean?

Hi hello from Boston yes the federal government is literally sending troops into major cities and detaining citizens without due process based on racial profiling, so electing mayors who will push back against fascism is extremely important for all of us.
The "why do you care so much about the NY mayoral election" takes strike me as pretty obtuse. The world's sole superpower is being taken over by fascists, and this was part of the struggle to define what the opposition to that will look like. That obviously has major implications for all of us?
