We can be even more specific here: Black voters. These are all majority-Black cities.
It's no accident that in reiterating his calls to "nationalize" elections, the president focused on Detroit, Philadelphia and Atlanta. A core tactic of the president and others seeking to undermine elections has been to target cities with lots of voters of color.

Trump is ending their legal status (even though their home country remains unsafe) so he can deport them and terrorize our communities

I thought I was being sooooo smart locking Sammy & Storm in a bedroom while I baked cookies, but I stepped away from the kitchen for <1m and came back to find Miss Odette's face buried in my cookie batter.

She is 15yo with severe arthritis; I'm surprised she made it on the kitchen counter!

Brad Lander has been one of a very few elected reps acting up to the task of what's needed over the last year. He got arrested protecting New Yorkers. Now he's in Minneapolis. Why aren't more Democrats doing patrols in Minneapolis? Or in their home towns?
We’ve been on the streets all day with @bradlander.bsky.social and because we had so many patrols out, multiple abductions were prevented.

The world is looking to us for inspiration, and we will keep showing them how we show up for our neighbors.

Gregory Bovino must also be fired.

I met an absolutely lovely academic who asked whether my department back home is affected by ICE -- a question dramatizing how little info is getting out.

For the record, the small example I chose:

My dept has a carpool to pick up grad students of color who can't safely commute to campus alone.

just want to remind folks that pushback and public outrage stopped them from closing the CDC library. i bet pushback will stop them here, too
