Today New York made history, becoming the first state to require companies disclose when they use AI-generated actors in advertisements.

New York wouldn’t be New York without its film and TV industry. Responsible AI policies like this protect the actors who keep it running.

While New York has expanded access to affordable health care, Washington Republicans are letting premiums skyrocket and coverage disappear.

Unless they act, thousands of New Yorkers could lose their coverage on January 1.

Our GOP reps need to extend the ACA tax credits now.

Kathryn Garcia and Jackie Bray are outstanding public servants who have helped transform our state for the better and deliver government New Yorkers deserve.

Proud to have them continuing to serve the people of New York.

Shootings are down 60% since I took office. That’s what happens when you invest in public safety.

And we’re just getting started. I’ll keep making sure police departments across the state have the support they need to keep New Yorkers safe.

As a mom who spent countless doctor’s office visits making sure my kids were vaccinated to protect them from deadly diseases, it’s devastating to see the Trump administration willing to let babies and children die.

I guess nothing should surprise us anymore.

I'll never stop fighting to make life more affordable for New Yorkers.

We’re expanding access to child care and building more centers across the state, helping more families find care close to home.
December 2, 2025 at 6:30 PM
When I said we’d put money back in the pockets of hardworking New Yorkers, I meant it.

8.2 million checks have now been sent to New Yorkers. The largest direct financial aid program in our state’s history.

My statement on President Trump and Mayor-elect Mamdani's meeting:
November 21, 2025 at 11:29 PM
As New York’s first mom governor, I know families need housing they can depend on and child care they can afford. We’re building a New York where every parent has access to both.

Thanks to stronger laws we fought for and the hard work of law enforcement, retail theft is down double digits since last year.

There’s more work to do, but this is real progress.

Millions of New Yorkers rely on ACA tax credits to afford health care. Donald Trump calls them a “waste.”

That says it all.
November 18, 2025 at 10:41 PM
I've just directed state agencies to fully fund federal SNAP benefits for November.

President Trump's actions have been senseless and un-American. I'll never stop fighting for New York's families.

The results are in: Trump’s tariffs are proving to be nothing but a tax on hardworking New Yorkers.

After losing their son to suicide, Jack Reid’s family turned their heartbreak into change.

I was proud to sign the Jack Reid Law: Protect All Students Act — joining his family to stand up to bullying and protect our kids.

Three million New Yorkers are still waiting for their food assistance and some families might not receive SNAP benefits at all.

Republicans in Washington refuse to come to the table -- and New York families are paying the price.
November 6, 2025 at 8:58 PM
No president has ever cut off food assistance funding during a government shutdown — until now.

Hunger isn’t a partisan issue. I’m fighting to ensure no New Yorker goes hungry.
October 31, 2025 at 5:22 PM
The Trump Administration would rather starve children and families than lift a finger to help them put food on the table.

I’m declaring a State of Emergency to use every tool we have to help the three million New Yorkers losing food assistance because of the GOP shutdown.
October 30, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Millions of New Yorkers will lose food assistance starting November 1.

I'm fighting to keep families from going hungry, but Republicans need to end their shutdown and release the money.

These cuts hurt real people. Tell your story: ny.gov/federalcuts

When it comes to fighting crime and public safety, every second matters.

That’s why I’ve made record-breaking investments in technology that will save time, and save lives on Long Island and across New York State.

On this final day of Hispanic Heritage Month, we're proud to recognize a community that is a vital part of our history, culture, and progress and whose impact is felt across every corner of New York State.

Once again, New York Republicans are turning their backs on their neighbors to please Donald Trump.

1,000 jobs and $650 million are on the line.

They’d rather kiss the ring than protect their own state.
October 8, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Day 7.

Jobs are on the line. Progress is under attack.

New Yorkers didn’t ask for the GOP shutdown — but they’re paying for it.
October 7, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Today, Donald Trump attacked New Yorkers for political payback.

I will not sit idly by while his administration hurts New Yorkers.
October 1, 2025 at 6:39 PM
The GOP shutdown has real consequences.

Working people are being held hostage by Donald Trump’s political games.

This isn’t leadership. It’s cruelty.
