70% of this i think is that josh o’connor is a marvelous actor who really carries the thematic and emotional core of the story on his shoulders. there is one particular scene that i actually found genuinely moving.

Husband and I have been playing Split Fiction the last few weeks and WOW, this game is worth all the Game of the Year hype! Not only is it beautiful with a compelling story, but it’s pretty much 20 games in one. The game devs must have had a blast working on this. A must buy co-op game.

I’ve said it before, but in CA you can get a library card for ANY CA library as long as you have a valid California address. I currently have 7 cards, and checking out ebooks has never been easier or faster. Also, just so many more options. It’s wonderful!
AND supporting your local library is super important! If you actually DO want books to be available to everyone, the library *already exists* and is staffed by the people who are deep in the trenches of fighting censorship! Supporting the library is doing actual good for your community!

I tend to stay away from Star Wars discourse cause in my experience, it brings out the most toxic people. However, I will say that I have disliked Rogue One for years cause how y’all going to have this extensive spy network and no women?

rogue one is bad folks. i have believed this since i saw it in theaters and no subsequent rewatch has changed my mind. basically a chop job until the final sequence, which is good (for star wars)

1. Mass manufactured clothes are only ever intended to fit "good enough," and;

I don't deny that dogs can sometimes be quite lovely but what I will say is I don't trust their opinions. If a cat recommended me an album it had bought, I'd totally check it out. If a dog did the same, I'd promise to listen to the album, out of politeness, with no intention of actually doing so

Good games are hard enough to make with talented people. My only guess at how this could even remotely work is they just churn out slop and hope one of them hits. And ultimately game devs will just be cleanup for all this garbage.
