There was one (1) old man MAGA in a big truck driving circles around the square with Trump flags in the back who got REPEATEDLY boxed in by honking, cheering No Kings supporters so no matter where he drove he could not escape the honking, it was fucking HILARIOUS

Ended up at the Longview, WA No Kings Protest today, where I got multiple startled belly laughs with my sign from the 1000~ish attendees, met the protest GOAT (an actual goat), and gave my glasses a hero's death by headbanging them off my face to Rage Against the Machine in front of two Xtian MAGAs.

And I think that's the real value of this kind of protest. It's easy to be cynical and say "this accomplishes nothing", but what it does very effectively is show people that they're not alone, and that lots of people are sick of this shit and want to do something about it

This is the second time that we've been in a small rural town for the no kings protest and the most heartening thing is not just seeing lots of people show up, but also the number of working class dudes in trucks driving by and honking in support
