Precisely.
We have cleaned up the crime scene and blocked a local investigation and hidden the perpetrator and invaded the state and that is how you know that we are acting in good faith and that everything was the victim’s fault.

Hard not to think one reason they lie, and lie so blatantly, is that they have learned that by doing so, major news outlets will feel obligated to report those lies as legit interpretations of facts rather than calling them what they are: Lies.
In a sane world after a deadly shooting committed by a federal agent, we could count on a decent response from a chastened federal govt. Instead, we can count on the Trump regime in Homeland Security and DOJ to lie about what happened. This is beyond appalling, as is the horrific act itself.

If only our society took major crimes by rich people as seriously as minor crimes by poor people. Ideally more seriously. But as seriously would be a big improvement.

Just thinking again how Democrats asked people to accept short-term suffering in order to give space to prevent long-term, worse suffering and then said, "Thanks for suffering in the short-term. You'll get to suffer long-term too so that our Thanksgiving plans don't get disrupted."

anyways the problem with the Democratic Party is not the language its leaders use but the principles they lack

if you know what you believe in it’s not actually that complicated to express it effectively

When Dobbs came down, the media rightly saw it as the culmination of a decades long effort to eliminate abortion rights by the conservative legal movement. When Skrmetti came down, the media blamed trans people and not that same conservative legal machine.

It's the same court and lawyers.

Well, if there's one thing Minnesota is good at, it's being so cold and off-putting to people from other parts of the country who try to move here that they just leave. So I guess that's one unexpected upside in the event of military occupation
