This is why that speculation rubbed me so wrong. Y'all wanted them to have put a traumatized child on *another* plane, stuck him in front of a crowd of a strangers bigger than most people will ever see, and asked him to smile? That is a baby and he belongs safe at home with his family.

I used to admin a huge Facebook page for children's librarians. I went viral for advocating that libraries support BLM. I published an oped that often gets taught in library school about how libraries aren't neutral. I published it because I saw so many kids libs+ admin carrying water for fascism.

Y'all I don't know who the kid was (maybe it was!) but "conejo" is Spanish for bunny. I don't know that we can be reading into Conejo Malo having a flag with "conejo" on it.

One of the reasons I so greatly dislike the “can men and women be friends?” nonsense (yes, full stop, shut up) is that it casts suspicion on people with opposite-sex friends instead of where it more often belongs: on people with no opposite-sex friends.
Anyway, yeah. The overwhelming impression one gets from so many of these emails is that a lot of them are guys who have never had a real, serious friendship with a woman in their lives.
Which sucks for them, but also sucks for every woman who has to deal with them, ever.
