for real though there's no end of history. there's no saviour coming for us. there's no Last Judgement where we will finally be free and live in the workers paradise forever. there's only the struggle and we have to learn how to live and love in a dark place.

It's cheesy but I do find a lot of inspiration in things like Berserk and Dark Souls, exploring the role of the Struggler. Whether through love or spite, you find something to keep you going. Even as the nights stretch ever longer, you keep slaying the demons, no matter how much they hound you.
