Our government is supposed to protect people exercising their constitutional rights, not kill them. This is a good sign.
Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

one of the few things ive done academically that i think "actually" matters involves this graph. people who are bad neighbors -- who reject immigrants, people of a different race or religion as neighbors -- want strong (anti-democratic) leaders and army rule.

people who are good neighbors do not.

This is a national media fail. But predictable as they fixate fully on the new shiny distraction with generations of sexual-assault victims knowing this would happen again.

The system protects itself, and too many media leaders helped build and sustain that sick system. And jump to change subject.
If an overarching goal has been to remove Epstein from the public conversation, this has to be viewed today as a total success.

Trump's federal cuts are threatening lifesaving scientific breakthroughs. That’s why I’m leading a plan to put a $23 billion science research bond on the ballot. The best part? My bill requires that the drugs developed with this public research bond must be sold at a discount.

Almost certainly the best thing I was ever told about owls was when I met an owl handler at an owl sanctuary and he told me that the wild owls who lived near the sanctuary worried about the tame show owls there and sometimes stopped by to leave them shrews and mice as presents.

Although I can barely feel my fingers, I couldn’t be happier. My heart is singing and I can’t help but smile.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.
