My law firm is currently litigating 11 redistricting cases in 10 states. We are also litigating an additional 54 voting and election cases in 27 states.

This is as many cases as we typically handle going into the final months of the election. 2026 will almost certain be a record breaking year.

Robert, I haven't seen an update for a while on what the minimum wage would be, today, if it had kept up with (a) inflation, or (b) productivity.

This analysis (2020) from @deanbaker13.bsky.social of @cepr.org is eye-opening and should be shared, widely.

Some folks in DJT administration have trouble with maths.
More evidence of Donald Trump's dementia. His import taxes (tariffs) raise about one-tenth as much revenue as the income tax. Unless he wants to raise the ANNUAL deficit by $2 trillion, he can't replace the income tax cepr.net/publications...
Trump Crazy# 27542: Replacing the Income Tax with Tariffs
Trump’s plan to replace income taxes with tariffs ignores basic math and would massively expand the federal deficit.

The "no ceiling" stuff is third grade crap that would only be taken seriously by newspapers and politicians owned by billionaires. We can structure the market to make clowns like Musk & Zuckerberg incredibly rich, or we can structure it to promote more equality braveneweurope.com/dean-baker-b...

Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.

When Mark Carney sets specific goals for Canada to "diversify away" from its reliance on the US—making headlines in Canada but not the US—hear that for what it is: Close partners and allies looking elsewhere for better friends.

This is the silent way that the US loses its pointless trade war.
