yes, just requiring Americans to submit to a visa application process to visit the EU would be a good move.
the mildest of mild things, to make Americans do what most of the Global South has to do, and go to an embassy or consulate and explain their reason for travel and show proof of funds etc

Working in Clacton Library as internet still dodgy at home. Most desks and shared PCs taken by 9.20am and they're about to knock it down and leave everyone without for two years. The nearest one is over an hour walk at my speed, with no bus. Big well done to the council and University of Essex! Ggr.
