Episode 6 is so good. Holly Hunter rules with barely any dialogue in these scenes. It’s incredible. The whole storyline is so intense. And I cried about something that happens.

Paul Giamatti's character is an absolute menace in Starfleet Academy, and Holly Hunter's Captain Ake just stares him down and says everything by barely speaking. Just a wonderful dynamic.

Episode 6 is so good. Holly Hunter rules with barely any dialogue in these scenes. It’s incredible. The whole storyline is so intense. And I cried about something that happens.

I’ve been writing on the current #wip tonight and I think I broke through a problem. Simply by letting the deuteragonist ask “what’s actually happening to us?” The rest of the cast now has to answer something that they (and I) have been avoiding to this point.

It would be so great if these Senators would actually continue to hold this line. No part of DHS actually needs to be funded for any reason until ICE is destroyed.

I love how the Kurtzman shows roll nearly everything into “canon.” An episode of Lower Decks shows us the skeleton of the giant Spock from the ridiculous episode of the 1970s animated series. It’s so funny! And I’m sure annoying to the most pious dorks.
There's no end to the irony of the "fans" complaining about canon in newer Star Trek because if you know anything about the series you know that shit was always stitched together with duct tape and prayer.
