One of my neighbors has been putting up these fish facts posters. All kinds of different fish, marine, freshwater, deep, shallow, all kinds. This is a good one. “Stg this real fish” took me out. Good work, neighbor.

Wow: after 15 years, YouTube has taken down the original 'Rick Roll' video due to a "licensing issue," likely due to the acquisition of Astley's record lable.

The metadata remains, but if you click through it goes to 'video not found':

This evidence deserves all the distribution it can get, given the amount of misinformation that persists even in well-informed & educated places
Literally a newly published paper exactly on this. Accounting for recombination, the recency of SARS-CoV-2 in reservoir bats is pretty clear.

Also the distance from reservoir to spillover is pretty similar in both cases. Cause wildlife trade.

Dear MailOnline I don't believe I've talked about anything on air fryers in well over a year (possibly two) let alone just give an 'urgent' warning. It's news to me!

Is the warning that both airfryers and me are high search engine terms so you're using them to attract clicks?

anyone who's ever run a community above a certain size can tell you that you either ban like 20 assholes or lose 20,000 normal people. allowing 'different voices' is a losing strategy.

The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
