I remember when there was this trailer online that either Gabe or someone else had put together with the music from Generations in the background and I was just looooost in it. I so, so hoped that THIS was the reimagined enterprise for the 2009 movie. I love this design so much.

This huge giant baby, who decided that the smallest seat in the entire van was his, is going in for surgery today! He is having a gross little nugget on his left elbow removed. It has been benign for many years, but recently got infected. So it’s time to go! Wish him luck!

This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.
Let’s be clear: Chuck Schumer is the one ending this shutdown, no matter how the votes read.
Chuck Schumer is claiming that he’s voting no, while letting other Senators (Fetterman, Kaine, King, etc) do HIS dirty work.

Ok y’all are gonna love this. In digital signal processing, there’s a math filter you can apply; “windowing.” You’re essentially putting bounds on your Fourier transform to do some cleanup on the waveform. But that’s not the ridiculous part. There are TWO MATHEMATICALLY SEPARATE window functions:
