As someone who lives downtown Ottawa and who was living dead centre of the "Red Zone" where I had to literally show ID at a police checkpoint in order to get to my apartment, a huge middle finger to this and what it's about to enable.

Quite frankly, it’s outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash.

I love how it takes up years, nay decades to do anything in this city to benefit the public.
But a few rich people/orgs (one, who has not paid us) needs a playground upgrade, via the public purse, to continue to make more money for themselves.

I was at Farm Boy today and the mall Santa came in after his shift to buy groceries. The kids in the store were entranced! Santa had a real very bushy white beard. Really looked the part.
