It's a known thing that in a fight/flight/freeze scenario, my default is fight. Why though?
I mean, mostly because my adrenaline surge is so strong I can't freeze and my knees are too fucked up to run away, so I take the bastard down with me instead

I have a cold that comes with my nose running like a tap, and so naturally I get a giant custardy yellow zit right against the corner of my left nostril. Managed to pop the fucker but I know it's going to come back and I know it's going to hurt every time I blow my nose whether it's drained or huge

I get why certain men join ICE. Power over people they've been told owe them subservience? Sure. Women? No clue. Do they all think they're so special that they'll be spared the harassment, abuse, and rape that always happens in these environments? Do they think it's worth it to get to hurt people?
