I just finished this and WOW what a trilogy, what a conclusion! Read them if you love intense chemistry, very bad decisions, political intrigue, things being too complicated for easy answers, loads of queer women, heartbreak, joy, love, betrayal, complex loyalty and just all-around good writing.

In retrospect, maybe I should have realized my "fantasy but set in a research facility with physics-based magic and a dwarf MC" was a tough sell when the structure fit a horror plot better than a sff one. 😅

I had no idea how many people will refuse to follow a series if it shifts from m/m to f/f, but: yeah.
