this is an extremely adorable book, really, do spend 99p on the experience of reading it one chapter a day in December! Llin's work is substantial, like cream and chocolate and other nice things with heft: she's not silly or slight, she gives you beautiful romance that sticks.

I just finished this and WOW what a trilogy, what a conclusion! Read them if you love intense chemistry, very bad decisions, political intrigue, things being too complicated for easy answers, loads of queer women, heartbreak, joy, love, betrayal, complex loyalty and just all-around good writing.

I will be the first to admit I couldn’t understand why anyone would oppose Assisted Dying… and then I became disabled and had it “offered” to me.
It’s not compassionate when there’s coercion.
