This photo does somehow look like a very unfortunate multi-class incident has happened but it is very fun. I think I blame the LMP3 near the corner apex for probably starting the chain reaction.

The two things that took Jr out of the 04 title hunt were the 25 point penalty at Talladega and him getting wrecked from 3rd at Atlanta. If you add back the 25 points from Talladega and the 106 point difference between 3rd and 33rd at Atlanta, Jr comes up 7 points short of Kurt Busch at Homestead.
