not really the point but it's pretty funny this frames scientists, doctors, and academics as part of the same potential anti-billionaire vanguard as me, the humble photoshop jockey
The billionaire class wants to decimate the white collar workforce. Because white collar workers are expensive. And because white collar workers—who historically sided with billionaires—are questioning that alliance. Which makes their knowledge and resources a huge threat to billionaire power.

I reiterate: any design thing by Trump (or Big Balls) is just ripping down something that previously worked and replacing it with something less accessible to Americans (and thus illegal under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act)
This tweet from Big Balls says the new “Tech Force” website is their first using the “America Design System.” Here are just a few reasons why that sucks. 🧵

Siccing dogs on people is a slave tracker thing, a Bull Connor thing, a police brutality thing, a jackboot thug thing, an evil abuse of both dog and man which only a fully corrupted spirit could enact.
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

A mom in Houston reported her 15-year-old son with autism missing. She spent 6 days terrified, searching for him. The whole time, Houston police knew exactly where he was since they helped ICE place him in a refugee facility.

This is beyond cruel.
