Gonna pin the most recent of my #HalloweenTombsones here for the year because it’s at lot easier to scroll thru them from the bottom up!

I’m already collecting more for 2026.
Have you considered not being chronically ill?
That people should just stop being unhealthy is also their pandemic plan.

Just thinking about how many people stopped being my friend when I stopped drinking. I wasn’t even an alcoholic. I just don’t like to drink and finally got brave about saying no. Lot of alcoholics in my world and I’d rather not be a trigger. I’m happier without it. It’s nice to cook with tho.

We need masks in healthcare...ALWAYS
Patient came in with sore throat. While waiting for rapid Strep test result we glanced back at the Covid-19 RAT result: positive. Reminder that masking in health care makes sense, if you don’t want everyone in your waiting room to go home sick, your staff to get sick, and physicians to get sick.

Spending political energy to massively increase pipeline production in Canada is not nation-building. It is planet burning.

I think it's more likely that the editors are trolling the owner in retaliation for his interference.
At this point, the Washpost edit page is just trolling its readers.

This is today's actual house editorial.

They’re required, @westernu.ca @westernualumni.bsky.social! They’re required!

As a place of higher learning, pls tell me you understand airborne viruses & the tools avail to prevent students, who spend tens of thousands of dollars to get an education there, from getting (preventably) ill from them.
It looks like Western has five lots of these. There are 4,400 masks per lot, so 22,000 N95s that they apparently don't need.

"Reason for being auctioned - No longer required"
@westernu.ca @westernualumni.bsky.social

Can you pls find a way to make these available to students? We’re in the era of frequent illness now and Western parent FB groups are FULL of reports of student sickness.

Many of the viruses we know are airborne & can be stopped in their tracks with these:

Running on an impeachment platform…interesting…
Trump wrongly indicted me. I’ll rightly impeach him.

Impeachment isn’t just an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent — but is it working?

When editors are subversive
Did, uh, anyone notice that when Carville claims in his NYT piece that “defund the police” was bad that the link takes you to an Appeal story about why ”fund the police“ was bad? Any editors, perhaps?
