I think this is cheap talk for the most part, but to the extent it is sincere (which for some ppl at Google it no doubt is) it is gonna result in a LOT of malinvestment.
This is the Dotcom Boom/Bust with no fuckin' brakes, b/c the US govt is crippled. Real tech, real uses, shitty investments.
