It does feel like a runner you'd see in a comedy movie. But even that description isn't perfect bc it's hard to see what punchline it's running to, because it's such a non sequitur ending 🤣

Oh my gosh, I would always confuse those two! Which was the doorbell episode and which was Egg Magic. I feel like the doorbell B-plot was where they actually tried, rather than just throwing together a couple scenes of painting eggs and calling it a day. I dunno if Egg Magic even counts as a subplot

I'm with you on that one. I love the "billionaire tyrant" thing and at least he was the network owner for The Simpsons (unlike other billionaire appearances). But yeah, Rupert sucks

Nothing in particular. It looks like there is more stuff on TikTok with authors being stupid or writing crappy books with clout. But there is some navel-gazing BookTube stuff too about where the niche is going.
