Well you see, money can be exchanged for goods and services.

That's not what Homer wants. This is what Homer wants.

"Rest in peace, Windows 10. You were better than Windows 8 but you weren't as satisfying as Windows 7. You were just OK."

Don't think I've seen a better obituary for Windows 10 during yesterday than this one...
A Metropol post revolving around support ending for Windows 10, commemorating the service for its odd quirks and hindrances

Girl, for an insomniac like me, 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep is a fucking luxury. I'm sleeping better after my house move in July but beforehand there were days when I'd go to bed and I'd get pissed off at how restless my body is. 30ish years, you can only take so much before cracking...

REASONABLE TIMES? Eww, gross. I never did that shit when I was a kid. I never even slept through the night until I was 7!!!
drummerfromfife.bsky.social
Yeah that's fair. You only have to so much time in the day, especially if it's a shot where characters are moving...

Oh of course, hypothetically, should we be about to do anything the authorities would consider... inappropriate!

Oh no I know it's you at this point 🤣

You could've shown an image of the Eds running around the empty garage. That would've shown they're looking for something exciting...

I would still say it's one of Pixar's worst but that's just for me. I just couldn't develop any interest for the story, even after that first viewing... but hey, better than Cars 2!!

First time I watched it, I thought it was just OK. I tried to watch it twice for the tier-list and I just couldn't get into it. I just didn't care for it.

I would say the cattle wrangling scene with Sam Elliot was enough to push GD into "Good" territory but it's still very much "Worst Good" film for me. There are a dozen or two films I'd rather watch over it...

Cars 2, yes, that film was a joke, but give me The Good Dinosaur over Elio any day of the week. That wasn't super great either but it was a far more tolerable experience with a few scenes I genuinely liked. Elio has nothing...

Look, I love Pixar, I've been committed to them since I saw Toy Story 2 in theatres, but when I saw the trailer to Elio and when it didn't really interest me, that should've been a warning sign. Fans will rave about the animation. I don't care how a film is animated if the story and characters suck.

I'm ready for Hoppers. At least that look semi-promising from the trailer. The problem here is the story was essentially done better in Lilo and Stitch, the villain is somehow threatening and yet a joke at the same time, the dialogue is way too goofy and Elio just isn't an interesting character...

Went back after the horror movies and Tom and Jerry to complete the job. Objectively, things do pick up very slightly but it's too late. The emotional moments near the end would mean something if the film's first hour wasn't tediously boring. Overall, a very mediocre film. The 2 star rating stands.

Not this week but next week? Terrific. If you need a getaway driver, I'm very affordable. All I ask is 8% of whatever the take is!

Chalk up another review for the cat and mouse. You know this came out only a month after Night Before Christmas? Bill and Joe were well and truly on their way at this point...

At one point in Horror Island, a creepy voice echoes through the castle. Because of how stupid the film is, I speak the words, "ONCE AGAIN, THE PHANTOM IS ABROAD!", a quote from the Tom and Jerry short "Fraidy Cat".

And of course now, I gotta watch it because duh, it's me.
