Please let it be good...

The set releases December 2nd. No way in hell will I get it on the 4th as Amazon claims so I'll probably have to mute "Tom and Jerry Golden Era" until it arrives. Don't wanna be spoiled with endless posts praising it. I need to see it for myself 🤣
The old Hollywood motto is 'The hyping for the next Warner Archive cartoons release ain't over til Jerry Beck is seen holding it in his hands!' (Or somethin' like that)

I just learned what "oomf" means. More internet slang. Positive sign: I don't feel as cranky towards internet culture as I normally do. Compared to "67" being a Word Of The Year, I am perfectly neutral. Yay.

I am so out of touch with internet slang, it's embarrassing. I'm only 32!!!!

File's done. Only took 10 fucking hours!!

Got a new E-240 coming tomorrow/Tuesday if I'm lucky. I'll get that transferred to tape and I'll get it posted on MEGA for anyone who desires a marathon of Christmas cartoons. Runtime is about 3 and a half hours, more or less standar CN marathon runtime...
Re-rendering the video before I transfer it to tape. Here's a nostalgic jolt from yesteryear. You're welcome. I'll send you a bill.

It's almost there. I am very open about not being a fan of Chuck Jones's Looney Tunes work from the 30s and the early 40s but honestly, "Bedtime For Sniffles" is a genuinely cute cartoon and it feels like a good note to end a Christmas compilation on...

Rendering is still going. It wouldn't be a custom Christmas compilation if it didn't feature at least one ad with the Coca Cola truck. Of course this is back when Coca Cola actually made their commercials themselves and not through AI...

I remember having a weird talking Bugs and Daffy toy set. They had those buttons in their hands with quotes that would normally respond to whatever the other character said. They were from the late 90s so maybe they were made to promote Space Jam, I can't remember...
#LooneyTunes merchandise is often centered around clothing and lifestyle brands these days.

They went all out with toys, action figures, original licensed artwork, games, anything they can market the characters on in the 1990s.

WB Studio Store definitely had it all for any occasion.

When I followed Thomas and Friends back in the day, the announcement of a new video or DVD coming out was always a big deal. A fancy sale offer with said new videos/DVDs? Even better!!!

A while back, I made a custom Cartoon Network compilation of Christmas cartoons (alliteration!!). I should really get it copied onto VHS at some point. Sure, the commercials will look extra crapola but on an E-240 at SP, it should look decent enough...

A free Cartoon Network streaming service? I'd be there in a heartbeat. If anything, it reminds me of Cartoon Network Too from the 2000s. All the modern stuff is on regular CN, the Cartoon Cartoons and other classic stuff gets shunted to CN Too and Boomerang. It was a fascinating time...

On the one hand? Gross.

On the other hand? If anything, Harry Potter is long overdue. You would think they would've added him during the Fantastic Beasts era around 2020 or something. Christ, the Universal Monsters were in this at one point. HP was very much a given.

Fuck it anyway...
Harry Potter x Fortnite coming in Chapter 7

I could be wrong, I may have missed a crucial school class or two twenty years ago, but I'm pretty sure 67 is a number, not a word. The human race is irredeemably lame at this point...

The Dukes Of Hazzard is donezo. Only now just realized Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman herself, is in this. Loved this when I was a teen. As an 32-year-old? As far as I'm concerned, the two stars is generous!!

A ★★ review of The Dukes of Hazzard (2005)
Were there people clamoring for a Dukes of Hazzard film in the mid 2000s? This is a movie I had the pleasure of seeing in an empty theatre when I was 12 years old. It was a small Portuguese chain in t...

You hear that horn. The General enters the racetrack. The crowd cheers. Molly Hatchet starts playing. Say what you will about the rest of the film. This is where it starts getting good, even if it only for 10-15 minutes...

I swear, ever since seeing Dukes Of Hazzard, I always wanted to slide across the hood of a car. If only I could pull off energetic stunts without feeling like I'll drop dead if I pull a random muscle in the wrong way...

Review written within the first twenty minutes of the 100 minute movie. I've seen this thing A LOT in the past. Now I have another hour to decide whether or not the star rating I have down for it is being too generous...
I have a Letterboxd review in mind. This is a movie I saw 20 years ago and is a textbook example of something you enjoy when you're young with no taste but turns out to be a pile of garbage the older you get.

I could watch a good film but nope, this is where the mind is tonight!!

I think getting a decent notification sound for Al's weekly drive to work is out of the question BUT I found something that works for when my bank sends me the occasional buzz. This is absolutely a mistake but hey, we've come this far...

#165. I still wanna add to my collection of ridiculous ringtones and have something for this Saturday occurrence. If not an obnoxious fake chicken sound, what could I use to alert me to Al's weekly drive? It needs to be loud and it needs to be funny...

Post something random or you'll have an awful December.

I meant to post this last night when I saw this but I forgot because I am garbage.

Never deflate and land on a police officer. They will get upset, they will break out their giant "Fuck You" truck, potentially with giant buzzsaws and they will chase you through your local city streets until you either die or you outrun them, whichever comes first...
