There's one state senator, Nick Collins, that has prevented legislation that would ease the tax burden on Boston residents.
Here's his phone number. You should call his office. (617) 722-1150

On December 18th, we will "officially" be at war with Venezuela.

This got largely overlooked, but note that Karoline Leavitt actually praised Trump's vile rant about Somalis as "epic." The cult worship has gotten so bad that his open racism now must be celebrated.

On the pod, we dig into this and his threat to denaturalize:

Filed with the City Council in Apr 2024. Had hearings, town halls, briefings, votes by Council & House—& then he blocked it in the Senate last Dec. Council passed it again in Feb 2025 & we’re still waiting for a vote.

I don’t have the power to stop State Senators from doing their job, only they do!
Imagine the audacity of Mayor Wu asking the least productive legislature in the country to do some work when they’re already 2 weeks into their 6 week holiday break?

Stunned by how dishonest senators like Senate President Karen Spilka and Senator Nick Collins are being about Mayor Michelle Wu's tax shift home rule petition.

It was filed in February. They ignored it. No right to complain that it's a brand new ask. #mapoli

We’ve been waiting for nearly two years for the State Senate to take a vote on our bill. If they have additional proposals, we’re not the ones stopping them.

Btw our legislation includes balanced tax stabilization to help all residents AND additional tax relief for seniors & small businesses.

Four masked agents with guns drawn yanked people out, slammed them to the ground, and pointed a weapon at a pregnant woman.
