The real horseshoe theory is a bunch of people in our politics have been hit in the head by a fucking horseshoe.
Seeing Epstein in the news is really hard for Trump, because it’s a fresh reminder of when he had his best friend murdered.

Maybe we just need to put every elected Democrat in front of a rabid crowd of progressives screaming “TAX THE RICH.”
imagine that

Is 2025 when tarring and feathering makes a comeback?
Tbh i think the founders imagined an elected official, in a quasi official capacity, would just shoot the guy before it came to this
If only the US system had votes of no confidence

Trump wants to have a fake investigation that lasts for the rest of his term that magically ends when he’s out of office so the files stay in limbo. Not sure if that dog will hunt.

If this is the best they could come up with, they’re fucking spinning out.

My mayor-elect released a video informing his followers about the life and legacy of Sylvia Rivera and Begala thinks he ran as an anti-woke centrist. Burn the old guard of the party to the fucking ground.
What the fuck are you talking about that Zohran didn’t run on identity? He released campaign videos in basically every major language spoken in the five boroughs, including one in Arabic in the last couple weeks of the campaign when he was getting constantly hit with Islamophobic smears!
does paul begala think that giving quotes characterizing another democrat like this *helps* the democratic party?

Running Man isn’t quite the kind of leftist I am, but I appreciate that it tries.

I guess the one upside to not having a public editor is that the Times doesn't have to make sure their public editor isn't drinking themselves to death to deal with the stress of these revelations.

As a stroke survivor, it's very important to follow your doctor's directions to avoid having complications or a second stroke. By all accounts, Fetterman has done none of the rehabilitation or follow up work his doctors recommended.
John Fetterman was taken to the hospital after suffering from a “ventricular fibrillation flare-up” and falling near his home

Wonder if the WH is considering Trump going full on Born Again as a way to get past Epstein. Sure, maybe he knew about child sex crimes and even participated, but he's been SAVED now. Cut him a break!

1. Billionaires are mostly dumb on a lot of topics.
2. Billionaires are told by everyone around them, especially other billionaires, that they are the smartest people because they are billionaires.
3. Billionaires think they have special knowledge on something that is actually just ignorance.

This ties into something I’ve been rolling over in my mind. There are definitely editors who search out and recruit craven assholes because of their pre-existing proximity to power. I will always have a hard time trusting a journalist with a famous name who comes from money.
Yep. Some go into journalism to have access to power, to be power's handmaiden & PR. Others go into journalism to question & illuminate the operation of power & how some norms/systems hurt the powerless. Wolff just 1 of many examples showing--again--the former is very common& usu far more lucrative.
Aside from every other repulsive thing about these Epstein emails, they offer direct confirmation of Michael Wolff as one of the sketchiest creeps in a teeming universe of gross behavior

This is what’s next.

“The fact that they’re not using code words if proof the emails aren’t real!”
November 13, 2025 at 2:48 AM
They're trying to make it exculpatory by saying Giuffre never accused him of wrongdoing, which seems like the same strategy they tried with Stormy Daniels releasing a statement required by her NDA saying they didn't have sex.
JIANG: Did the president ever spend hours at Epstein's house with a victim?

LEAVITT: These emails prove absolutely nothing, other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong
November 12, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Trump's true talent has been understanding the inherent laziness of much of the press. Throw out enough bullshit and they'll get distracted and spend all their time chasing shadows while you do crimes in the open.

The President, who exists in a fantasy world curated by his sycophants and has a history of commodifying and objectifying women, definitely raped children. His approval is under 40%. We can never stand up against this unstoppable electoral juggernaut.

Anyone else thinking about the concept of hell a lot more these days?
November 11, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Trump and fascism are rising because of shit like what Schumer just pulled.

Has anyone else realized we no longer talk about Bruno-o-o?

Who is this ad for? Are there still Libertarians who haven't been completely subsumed by the MAGA movement?
November 10, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Schumer traded a 40 day shutdown with plummeting approval for the administration and Republicans for the promise to hold a vote on a messaging bill on ACA subsidies that the House will never entertain.

Maybe not great that our President is now threatening to sue foreign media to get them to change critical coverage.
