Every single one of the house reps who showed up in that illegal orders video voted for that pointless "socialism bad" resolution several days later. At that point, they had likely all been receiving threats and they still chose to appease the right. Fascinating.

I remember listening to a Pod Save episode (forgive my foray into politics, we all had to start somewhere) in which they interviewed a refreshingly laid back, potty-mouthed politician named Kamala Harris. A few short years later, she turned into this inscrutable, mealy-mouthed candidate.
