The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

I remember listening to a Pod Save episode (forgive my foray into politics, we all had to start somewhere) in which they interviewed a refreshingly laid back, potty-mouthed politician named Kamala Harris. A few short years later, she turned into this inscrutable, mealy-mouthed candidate.
