I seem to recall that one of the GOP's main criticisms of Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal was that he betrayed the Afghan allies and didn't allow enough of them to come to the US. They shouldn't be allowed to forget that.

DC shooter suspect approved for asylum in April 2025
CNN on the D.C. shooter: He came here from Afghanistan in 2021. He applied for asylum in December 2024, went through another vetting process, and was approved for asylum in April of this year under the Trump administration.

And the economy. Almost no one is better off, and many are worried. There are a lot of reasons to turn against Trump. And at some point the masses are finally going to catch on that he lies constantly about literally everything, and that will break through, too.
The shutdown, the Epstein files, and his unhinged attacks on decorated heroes whom he wants to see hanged for treason didn’t help.
