Judge Biery signed the order with a photo of Liam and two bible verses: The first is "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." The second is simply "Jesus wept."

Astonishing thing for a judge to do.

My upcoming "I'm Definitely Not A Weird Sex Pest" convention panel has people asking a lot of questions that will be answered at the panel
Moving along...

Apparently, Vic's shining reputation was so wonderful that Vic had once done - at an unknown time in the past - a panel at a con to try and deal with 'rumors' about him.

This is great for his deposition claim, at least from Lemoine's perspective.

Foreign countries are bribing our president to sell out the American people.

Trump family businesses made $187 MILLION from this deal, and just months later he gave the UAE some of our most top-secret AI tech.

They are selling our national security to the highest bidder.

DHS doesn’t even bother trying to lie well. The man whose skull was shattered told the hospital he’d been struck by ICE officers, an ICE officer told hospital staff the guy “got his sh*t rocked,” then when it became clear how badly he was injured, they claimed he deliberately ran into a wall.

👀 Looks like the husband of the woman ICE abducted called his lawyer, lawyer called the cops, then the police chief went and got her & took her home

Article says it may be the first time local Minnesota PD "intervened in a federal law enforcement action" since Trump started terrorizing the state

11th Cir., 2-1, holds that it was not clearly established that it would violate a person's right to bodily integrity for sheriff's deputy to drive drunk at night without lights, hit the person's car, and then flee leaving person to die.

QI for deputy.

ICE's decision to just leave cars abandoned in the roads is one of those dystopian things that makes you recoil in shock when you encounter it.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

what’s astounding about this is not only the incredible cruelty but the complete lack of even the most basic public relations instincts

they kidnap a five year old and generate national outrage and rather than do some basic window dressing to treat him nice while abusing everyone else they do this

NPR has obtained the new experimental nuclear reactor safety rules from DOE -- revised in secret, a pretty abnormal process not likely to help buy-in. I defer to nuke experts on the details, but apparently they are greately relaxed

The rewrite was done to speed up the construction of a new generation of nuclear reactors. Critics warn it could compromise safety and public trust.

Liam himself is five goddamned years old and should be at home with an adult he trusts right now no matter who his parents are. It would not matter if they were literal criminal masterminds, Liam Ramos is a baby and babies do not belong in prison.
Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

BREAKING: A young doctor who lives near where Alex Pretti, a nurse, was killed by ICE says in a declaration he saw the shooting, went out to help, was not let through at first then patted down before being let by, and was apparently the first to try and provide any medical assistance to Pretti.
