Former #Bluejays Bo Bichette follows the Kyle Tucker route, taking a short-term, high-dollar deal with #Mets according to several reports.

My story will be up @thestar.com shortly and I'll send out a link when it is.

Also going on @foulterritoryshow.bsky.social to talk about it at 1:15pm Eastern!

Toronto is normally the city that cried weather but they really undersold it this time. Forecast was originally 10-15 cm and we’ve got a solid 30!

Breaking: Zohran announced today that he will be fixing that one thing that has ambiently pissed you off for like 14 years.

Best TikTok thing going is the two dudes trying food from every country without leaving NYC. If you haven’t seen them yet, it’s incredible. My favorite so far is last week’s. Legit got me emotional.

Got tennis elbow from awkwardly grabbing a loaf of bread from the back of the fridge 🤦‍♀️
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

Started to #crochet my first granny square today, and despite having a good number of projects under my belt, I found it genuinely hard! Please tell me I’m not the only one 🙃

meanwhile.... medicine has taken INSANE leaps and bounds in the last 2 years.
we're out here curing HIV and leukemia and creating 100% efficacy vaccines against all sorts of cancers, and now this??

between this and renewable energy outstripping fossil fuels in efficiency, the future is bright

A team of US scientists just cured Alzheimer’s in mice — and there is now hope that the disease can be reversed in humans.

Writing doesn't just help you process your thoughts.

Neuroscientists have found it physically changes your brain in ways that build resilience and help you handle everyday stress and challenges.
Writing builds resilience by changing your brain, helping you face everyday challenges
Resilience is often presented as feats of bravery and endurance. But everyday practices like journaling, drafting a text or even writing a to-do list are manifestations of a capacity to adapt.

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

All my Christmas shopping is done and I’m sitting on couch, drinking a freshly made coffee and reading the next book for my mystery book club. The perfect winter afternoon!

I'm not sure I've ever seen anything with a larger disconnect between the executive class and the general public than AI - there have been cases where executives want to push something they know is unpopular, but on AI it's like the backlash hasn't penetrated their bubble at all
What gets me about executives at movie/videogame studios being taken aback at consumer backlash to AI is that they seem genuinely surprised that we like the human beings that make the things that we like

It's impossible to combat the dangerousness of the right by participating in a platform where they control the algorithm. Funny how that part goes unspoken whenever these people make their pitch about why leftists should go back to Twitter.
