I said this morning that we would win. But we will lose — and lose badly — if the opposition party doesn't recognize the gravity of the situation.

Schumer and Jeffries must be supplanted as the party leadership's center of gravity. It's vital. They're not capable of leading us through this.
ABC News reporting 1,500 active duty soldiers are on standby to deploy to MINNESOTA.

The soldiers are from the 11th Airborne Division, based at Joint Base Elmendorf--Richardson, one of the Army's premier infantry formations.

The division is also the military's leading formation for Arctic warfare

Never forget that without Trump, these are people who would never have been within a million miles of any job that carries serious responsibilities - and they know it.
LEAVITT: Why was Renee Good unfortunately and tragically killed?

REPORTER: Because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed her unjustifiably

LEAVITT: Oh, ok. So you're a biased reporters with a biased opinion. You're a left-wing hack.

Good luck topping this @nytpitchbot.bsky.social
About 150 miles north of Minneapolis, in the small town of Nisswa, the response to the killing of Renee Good by an ICE officer last week illustrates an urban-rural divide across the U.S. that's been deepening for years.

Obviously correct, and worth underscoring in every press report.

As is the reality that Trump himself would obviously be removed from positions of responsibility in any other setting—pilot, surgeon, teacher, company official, bus driver—and those around him are denying that while using him.
ICE officers tell media that the conduct in Minneapolis is part of a plan by Stephen Miller to provoke as much violence and death as possible—which in turn will be taken as pretext for more. “They’re essentially operating now in a resource constraint-free environment and doing very dangerous things”
Former members of ICE say recent violence is "by design"
"What has changed is there has been an encouragement from the top to be much more aggressive in enforcement."

This is a credulously repeated lie from authoritarians.
BREAKING: The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.

A LEO SOUR?

LOUDER!!

FLOUNDER?

LOUDER!

PEDOPHILE?!
DOKOUPIL: When I travel the country, they tell me they don't feel it because grocery prices are up--

TRUMP: They're going to now. I've only been here for 11 months. I inherited a mess. If she got in, you wouldn't have this job right now.

Rapist. And mobster. But mainly rapist.
“The Premier of Greenland said today, ‘We prefer to stay with Denmark’ - do you see that as the final word?”

TRUMP: “I disagree with him. That’s their problem. I don't know who he is. I don’t know anything about him. That's gonna be a big problem for him.”

So I was already in the fleet flying jets for the Navy when 9/11 happened.

My first thought when I heard about “homeland” being invoked was precisely what we are seeing.

Words have deeper value than we think. And invoking a “homeland” was a straight up Nazi move by the US.
As someone who came of age politically in the wake of 9/11 the "We must destroy DHS" sentiment is very welcome.

REMINDER: It's been more than two months since Seth Moulton said on TV that Donald Trump “took advantage of young girls with Jeffrey Epstein,” and the notoriously litigious Trump hasn't filed or even threatened a defamation lawsuit.
MOULTON: If you're like Trump & took advantage of girls w/Epstein-

SCARBOROUGH: We don't have evidence he took advantage of girls w/Epstein

M: Common sense be damned

S: Is he in the files?

M: Obviously

S: You have absolutely no evidence he took advantage of girls

M: I think it's pretty obvious

President Trump has based his insitence on taking over Greenland — despite objections from Danish and Greenlandic officials — on reasons of “national security.” But scholars say the territorial grandeur itself is at least part of what appeals to him.
Greenland Would Be the Largest U.S. Land Acquisition, if Trump Got His Way

Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
WARNER: It used to take 5 to 6 months to get trained. They've now lowered the training period to 47 days. Why 47 days? Because Donald Trump's the 47th president. Tell me that's a rational approach

KERNEN: I'm not taking that bait
