This woman is harder than goddamn steel dealing with these goddamn thugs. I want her to be my neighbor.

On that note, as a queer person from a red state, it disappoints me to see people say this could be real because "well, it's Utah, a homophobic red state" OR who say "of course it's fake, why would a red state show a gay show?" Stuff like this erases the queer scene that does exist in red states
Because if you find yourself believing a fake story and getting angry at selective comments with no engagement designed to present a societal problem, all you’re doing is wasting your emotional energy and possibly perpetuating hatred through ignorance

Breaking NYT:

The Pentagon used a secret aircraft painted to look like a civilian plane in its first boat attack, according to officials briefed on the matter.

The laws of armed conflict forbid combatants from feigning civilian status.

That is a war crime called "perfidy."

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

american liberals are fine with millions of deportations as long as they happen quietly and the police don't hurt any white people. proud of it, really
Obama deported 3 million illegal immigrants during his time in office and I don’t remember a single scene like this.

So often in life horrible things happen and there's nothing we can do about them. But this one, there is. If you're still on Twitter, leave. If you know people who are still on Twitter, convince them to quit because it's not worth the moral injury
In Dublin, on Fenian Street, there's a factory that makes child sex abuse material. You can pay it money, as a subscription, and that's one of the services it offers. That's just part of the features its owner has advertised as one of the benefits of being a customer. www.thegist.ie/the-gist-the...

Yes, for sure. It's not that they *aren't* scared. It's that such a fear is a product of an ideological project. A project that gives cops carte blanche to transmute fear into violence, and which convinces people who should love their neighbors to instead fear them enough to excuse those cops.
tbf, I can believe theyre scared. because if anyone in america is made up of the most chickenshit people on earth, its cops.

This is simply not technically possible. You cannot generate enough writing in-house to train an LLM. You cannot generate enough art in-house to train a GAN. People who think they have a model "trained on our own material" are using a base model of mass-scraped data, unknowingly or disingenuously.
Larian CEO says Divinity could have gen AI assets in it but only if the tools are trained on the studio's own data.

"If we use a GenAI model to create in-game assets, then it'll be trained on data we own."
