Rey doesn't need to put her hands around his throat to take his breath away. Not when the Force works just as well. But she likes it better that way, her tanned fingers pressed against his milk-white skin. She's learned to squeeze from the sides and not press down directly on his larynx. The first time she did it was messy, his face turning slowly red and the blood vessels popping in his eyes until he was clawing at her, hips bucking wildly. Still, Kylo hadn't stopped her — though of course he could have. He's stronger than her physically, and his control of the Force is still more refined, despite her hours of practice. Still, the power of it is hot and heady in her veins. She could tell the whole world this wanton secret: that the Supreme Leader likes it when the little Jedi chokes him, when she presses so hard it leaves purpling bruises on his pale skin. That he needs it, right at the end, to push him over the edge. Rey leans down to put her lips against his ear, rocking her hips slowly and deliberately. "So fucked up," she whispers. "That you can't even come without this." She squeezes his throat just a little bit harder. "That you need me to hurt you." He groans, thrusting up into her with bone-jarring power, holding her hips steady with his iron fingers, as if he's afraid she'll disappear. Never. Rey doesn't run from anything, not even this. She tells herself that she doesn't get off on it. That it's not the sight of him, stricken and breathless beneath her that makes her start to clench around him. That it's not the knowledge that if she pressed too hard, or in the wrong way, that she could end his life. She tells herself it's all just practice for the day she makes another different choice; one that ends the war and the bloodshed and the horror. The day she takes his breath for the last time, when he least expects. Let him trust her. Let him show her all his weaknesses. In the meantime, she'll take the power that he gives.
