And here’s the absurdity of calling the police on ICE. You’re calling their backup.
New reporting shows local police are tapping school security cameras and license-plate reader systems to assist federal immigration enforcement, raising serious concerns about student privacy and surveillance.

i wonder why nobody wants to have a Reasonable Discussion™️ that requires accepting the fundamentally false premise that this tech is both Inevitable and Useful and not a multi-trillion dollar ponzi scheme created specifically to accelerate the upward extraction of wealth?
Once again: people are angry for very good reason, and this brand of post is perhaps one of the most tedious and bewildering. Practically every social media platform is rabidly pro-‘AI’ so are govts, academia, companies. This one small space being critical of AI is okay, I think.

As we've said for years:

The border is not a wall—it’s a system of control.
It doesn’t protect people; it pits them against each other.
It doesn’t foster togetherness; it breeds resentment.
It doesn’t keep out predators; it gives them badges and guns.

Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

In the wake of a massive confirmation that the tech industry’s run by deranged pedophiles, not a single tech platform should have the balls to start demanding ID and enacting invasive policies.

Yet they continue. They’re the ones being outed as dangerous and we’re the ones being regulated.

This is a regime radicalizing on a trajectory that, if not stopped, culminates in genocide. This is another step in its radicalization process: one that Nazi Germany took as well before it came to its ’Final Solution.’

Horrifically reminiscent of the earliest concentration camps created by Nazis as soon as they came to power. Approximately 70 camps were established in any structure they could acquire for the task: old factories, estates, schools, prisons, workhouses.
These locations are all over the country, in government buildings, in suburban office parks, and right in the middle of cities. Some of them are located right next to elementary schools, medical offices, places of worship, and other sensitive locations.

From long experience with governmental excuses, this is absolutely a lie.

"Legally fraught?" Lol they've got whole legal departments. They could draft and order an eviction moratorium today, then send their lawyers to back it.

If they ain't doing that, they're choosing not to.
Axios reports @governorwalz.mn.gov won’t call an eviction moratorium because it is “legally fraught” yet the definition sure sounds like one. www.mprnews.org/story/2023/0...

You notice how with elections liberals describe the left as simultaneously all-powerful and singularly decisive to the outcome, while also being pathetic idiots who don't understand the first thing about how the world actually works? That remind you of how anyone else describes another group of ppl?
i always love it when liberals critique me for being part of some leftist hive mind when like, I voted exclusively for Democrats. I told other people I thought it was best to vote for Democrats.

The Democrats lost. And they didn't lose because leftists refused to vote for them.

NEW: Records reviewed by WIRED show DHS’s facial recognition app (Mobile Fortify) isn’t designed to actually "verify" identity—despite DHS claims and its agents relying on its matches to support probable cause in the field.

But the Twin Cities have been able to resist ICE because of networks that developed then. Changing a broken system takes more than reform.
