Switched my location to the US to read something and now I'm getting Instagram adverts for bulletproof classroom doors. Beyond parody.

Morrisons Radio this morning went a little off piste by treating the gathered throng to "Your Love" by The Outfield (1986, #6 US, #83 UK).

Hadn't heard that in, what, 39 years?

Tori Amos's version of "I Don't Like Mondays" (2001) is now older than the Boomtown Rats original was at the time (1979).

Time flies like an arrow in to the knee.

Morrisons Radio played "The Robots" by Kraftwerk earlier. Then blew it with "Two Princes" immediately afterwards.

In 2007, I went to a screening of the first Simpsons movie. The vibe then was "yeah, it's OK, but this should have happened about 15 years ago". Now look.
Woohoo! The Simpsons are coming to theaters with an all-new movie on July 23, 2027!

There's money to be made offering a streaming service with additional audible surface rumble.
A hill I will die on: You don't like the sound of vinyl, you just don't like the sound of cheap digital music. Everything is recorded digitally anyway. Buy a proper DAC and all of a sudden everything sounds better.
