I wasn't going to re/post on this because it was totally shrugworthy from a legal perspective

The US Supreme Court has acted like it's one of Kim Davis's many husbands and kicked the "Marriage is Sacred, Y'all!!!" hypocrite to the curb. Glory!

I prefer the singular possessive, "Oh, for fuck's sake." It just sounds more professional.

Maybe not as bad as it looks

We may get our court packing and jurisdiction reform yet.

#BREAKING: Justice Jackson has issued an "administrative" stay, temporarily pausing a district court order that would've required the USDA to continue using contingency funds to pay SNAP benefits.
The stay expires 48 hours after the First Circuit rules on USDA's request for a stay pending appeal.

It's the Achilles Heel of extreme redistricting.
The greedier you get, the more you dilute your side's votes, leaving open the possibility that you lose even your "safe" districts in a landslide election
Like she said, unlikely
but it sure would be funny

Universal swing roughly 8 points to Dems in all VA counties.
If that holds in Texas next year it'd make a HILARIOUS backfire, not just neutralizing but reversing the gerrymander.
It's not *likely*, but it's possible, which is already pretty funny.

The Abbot/Paxton plan took like, five R+>10 and five D+3 seats and turned them into ten seats around R+6. So at D+8, the exact result depends on the distribution, but it could actually wind up ten seats at D+2.
It this happens I will laugh so hard I may injure myself.

Unfortunately, generating the electricity at the place you might use it doesn't allow utilities to charge you for moving the current around, so it will never happen here in the US.

(even though you don't remember what it was or how it worked?)
That's how he gets "100% ANTI TRUMP WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL"

The people who say people on SNAP "need to get a job" know exactly what they are doing
They enjoy spouting Nazi rhetoric, because it's like saying "I have power"
The more lies, the more power
correcting them with facts or reproving them with morality just adds more spice to their enjoyment
