Spammers are actively using OpenAI's platform to drive spam now. I have gotten multiple spams to "join" an "organization" on openAI which is just classic spammer names like "hot housewives now" or whatever.
They clearly aren't even *trying* to limit abuse.

At one job a temp implementation of a skill was named "magic ball" and I used a magenta cube with "magic ball" written on it. For safety.
In gamedev, if you're using a placeholder asset, best practices involve marking it as placeholder so garishly and offensively clearly PLACEHOLDER that you can't possibly miss it. Also flagging that asset in the dev process so it can be identified quickly before the final build.

My review of Blue Prince: It's a puzzle game that isn't particularly difficult, and heavily rewards paying attention and thinking about what you've seen. I thought I would hate it (because I hate puzzle games in general), but it tapped into some lost desire to be immersed in a game world.

As a game dev and designer, this rant aligns with what we saw from players nearly twenty years ago; people don't want to have to think while being entertained. Asking them to pay attention, or remember something, or apply even the tiniest bit of problem solving became unviable.

What I mean by this is by merely witnessing what it was saying to others, I've questioned whether or not I know what I know. Which is generally a healthy self-improvement behavior, but in this case borders on dangerous. Like saying "Well, maybe heroin addiction IS good!"
I am watching this video and I am now convinced that chatgpt is actually an information virus. Mere exposure to it entices people to use it. I have felt the pull even though I am resisting. I am now convinced that "AI" is mass psychosis.
