I've worked across multiple industries, but I'm pretty sure the games industry stands alone in offering no secure tenure and continuously forcing people to relocate their lives and families.
Given the state of things this year, it's even more evident that the entire system is broken.

Interesting scrolling through LinkedIn today and seeing several other people talk about their move out of gamedev. Sad to see, but not even remotely surprising. We all deserve better, even if it means starting over.
