This reminds me about how I found out while applying for employment insurance last year that my parents weren't married when I was born 🙃

For identity verification during the process I had to input "one of my parents' last names when born" and my last name didn't work, but my mom's maiden name did.

Yeah. But also underpasses can't cross each other, the mechanics of cranes suck, and trying to do dependency chains or fill a belt is exceedingly difficult due to constrained space.

oh it's definitely worse than the ones I've enjoyed. Needing your character one square away from anything you want to place or remove is a huge hurdle.

Underground passthroughs don't help with trying to string belts across the entire game map with many choke points.

definitely starting to hit a wall with this game. there arent a lot of tools to manage complexity and stringing belts around the world is annoying enough BEFORE having to worry about blocking pathways or criss-crossing

I tried the demo. It needs some love before it would really be good. Too much of it is visually confusing and the lack of good connection routing makes it difficult to manage.
