There is no credible definition of fascism that judges a regime's adherence to rule of law, ultranationalist ideals, embrace of social hierarchies, and rejection of democracy or liberalism by judging the extent to which its opponents choose to resist.
Trump's people want a lot of bad things that will make America an authoritarian regime. But they haven't succeeded and it would take a while for them even to end democracy, much less build fascism.
So act as if you live in a democracy - because you do.

As with the rest of this thread: you are judging the regime by the behavior of its opponents. A regime's fascism does not depend on how people behave.
Fascist regimes are paranoid regimes, so you'd want to make the regime's opponents *harder* to identify, not easier. Lack of trust and shitty infomation flow is a characteristic of autocracies in general; you'd want to encourage that, not wear "I AM THE OPPOSITION" tee-shirts. /4

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.
